How to use this tool

  1. Select one or more PNG images.
  2. Arrange image order by listing the selected file numbers.
  3. Choose A4 portrait or A4 landscape.
  4. Use Fit whole image to keep all content visible, or Fill and crop to use the whole page.
  5. Create the PDF and inspect the exported pages before sending them.

Options explained

One input image becomes one PDF page. Portrait and landscape refer to the output page, not automatic image rotation. Fit preserves all pixels; crop-to-fill may trim the sides or top/bottom.

Privacy and file limits

Large PNG files can produce a large PDF. This tool does not perform OCR or extract text from the image.

Screenshots and graphics

PNG is the format that phones and computers use for screenshots, charts and graphics with sharp text. Turning a set of screenshots into one PDF is a convenient way to send a conversation, a settings screen, a receipt from an app or a series of steps to somebody else. Each PNG becomes one page, so the pages follow the order of your list.

Keeping text readable

A screenshot is a picture, so the text in it is as sharp as the screenshot was. Take the screenshot at the full size of your screen, do not zoom it out first, and avoid cropping so tightly that the edges of the text are cut. If the picture is wide, use A4 landscape, and choose Fit whole image so that no part of it is lost on the page.

Page order and layout

Type the picture numbers in the order the pages should appear, for example 3,1,2. Portrait and landscape describe the shape of the PDF page and do not turn the picture. Fit whole image shows the entire picture with possible white margins. Fill and crop uses the whole page and can trim the sides or the top, which is not suitable for receipts or forms.

File size and sharing

PNG files keep a lot of detail, so a PDF made from large PNG files can be big. Check the size of the finished PDF before you email it or upload it to a portal, and if it is too large, reduce the size of the pictures first or split the work into two PDF files. Open the result once to see that every page is complete.
