Random String Generator for Sample IDs and Test Data
A random string is useful for sample identifiers, mock records and test data. Do not use this general-purpose tool to create production credentials, recovery codes or cryptographic secrets.
Generate a sample random string
- Open the random string tool in your browser.
- Generate a new string for your test or example.
- Copy the value into a non-production sample field.
- Create another value when you need a separate test label.
- Use a dedicated secure credential or token service for production secrets.
Use sample strings safely
Do not put real personal data into test labels. Mark mock data clearly and keep development values separate from production accounts.
Security limitation
This generator is not documented or audited as a cryptographic random-number generator. Never use its output as a password, API key, signing key or recovery token.
What the tool makes
The tool creates a random string of the length you choose, from 8 to 128 characters with 24 as the starting value, using the groups you tick: A to Z, a to z and 0 to 9. It uses the random-number source that your browser provides for security features, and nothing is sent to NexaToolPro. It is meant for sample data, test names, temporary labels and mock identifiers.
Not a password tool
The string has no symbols, and a value made for a test field is not the same as a password you will keep. For a password use Password Generator, which lets you choose a length from 12 to 64 characters and also includes symbols, and store the result in a password manager. For API keys and tokens use the service that issues them.
Safe use of test strings
Do not put real names, emails or passwords into test data. Mark example values clearly so that nobody mistakes them for real accounts, and keep test values away from production systems. If two systems must never share an identifier, check uniqueness in your own database instead of trusting any random generator.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this as an API key?
No. Production API keys should come from the service that owns them or from an approved cryptographic secret-generation workflow.
What is it useful for?
Use it for non-sensitive mock identifiers and sample data where a unique-looking string is convenient.
Can I use the result as a password?
It is better to use Password Generator, which includes symbols and has a minimum length of 12.
Can I use it as an API key?
No. Use a key made by the service that owns the API.
Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before using the service.
