How to Rotate PDF Pages and Save the Fixed File
A PDF may contain a mix of portrait and landscape pages after scanning or combining documents. Rotate PDF applies a quarter-turn to all pages or only the page numbers you choose.
How to use this tool
- Choose a PDF file and check the page count.
- Select a rotation angle: 90°, 180°, or 270° clockwise.
- Leave the page field blank to rotate the full document, or list pages such as 1-2,5 to target only those pages.
- Click Rotate and download.
- Open the result and check that text orientation is correct before sharing.
Options explained
The page field accepts single pages and ranges separated by commas. Existing page rotation is taken into account, so a second operation changes the current orientation by the selected amount.
Privacy and file limits
Rotation changes page orientation metadata in the exported PDF; it does not alter or re-scan the underlying text or image. The original file stays unchanged.
Rotating the whole file or some pages
Leave the page field empty to rotate every page, or type the pages you want, such as 1-2,5 for pages 1, 2 and 5. This is useful when a scan has a few landscape pages in a portrait document or when a single page was scanned upside down. Choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise and the tool applies it to the pages you listed.
Repeating the rotation
The tool takes the current rotation of each page into account, so a second run turns the page by the chosen angle again. If a page is upside down, rotate it 180 degrees. If it is on its side, try 90 or 270 degrees and look at the result. Always open the output and check a few pages before you send the file.
What changes and what does not
Rotation changes the orientation setting of the page and keeps the text and images as they are. Your original file stays unchanged, and you download a new copy.
