About Merge PDF

Use Merge PDF when reports, forms, receipts or handouts are split across several files. Everything runs in your browser, so the files are not uploaded to a server. The free plan merges up to 40 PDF pages in one operation. This guide explains how to add files, put them in order, choose a page layout and check the result.

How to use Merge PDF

  1. Open Merge PDF and select two or more PDF files from your device. The page count of all files together must be 40 or fewer.
  2. Drag the Drag handle beside each file to change the order. On a phone, hold the handle and move it with your finger, or use the up and down buttons.
  3. Review the page count, then use Page order / selection if you want to reorder pages. Listing 3,1,2 rearranges pages, and leaving a number out removes that page from the merged copy.
  4. Keep the original page sizes, or choose A4 portrait or landscape. Fit whole page keeps the edges; Fill page crops anything outside the frame.
  5. Choose Merge and download, then open the saved PDF and check the page order and margins.

Privacy and limits

Processing runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Password-protected, damaged or unusually large PDFs may not load. The merged result downloads to the device you are using.
